Impartiality Policy

VVB top management undertakes not to exert any pressure, suggestion or recommendation on its managers and staff before, during or after audits, decisions and reviews, and to provide an environment in which VVB personnel make decisions based on their own initiative, knowledge and experience and carry out their work independently and impartially.

It declares that all applicant companies will be treated, under all circumstances, independently, impartially, honestly and confidentially.

It declares that no pressure, suggestion or recommendation will be exerted on any audit, review or decision mechanism, committee or employee before, during or after audits and decisions; that they will be kept committed to the principles of confidentiality and impartiality; and that they will work free from all commercial, financial and other pressures.

It declares that our personnel will provide reliable certification services based on objective evidence, without being subject to pressure from any party and without regard to the interests of any organization or person.

It declares that all potential conflicts of interest have been analysed and addressed, and that, in light of this analysis, it will not engage in any activity that could undermine the impartiality and reliability of its product and system certification activities.

It declares that it is responsible for gathering and verifying the information needed to establish the validity of complaints and appeals submitted to VVB.

All interested parties can access and benefit from VVB Belgelendirme services equally, and VVB declares that it will not impose any undue financial burden in this respect.

It declares that it will ensure audit personnel are different from the persons involved in the certification decision.

It declares that, for as long as they work on behalf of VVB, such audit personnel will under no circumstances provide consultancy, consultancy-type training or internal audit services to certified organizations or organizations seeking certification, nor make any suggestion or offer to that effect.

It declares that no department operating under VVB’s legal entity and no full-time employee will offer or provide any kind of consultancy to organizations (risk and hazard analysis consultancy, management system or product certification system consultancy, product-related technical consultancy, etc.).

VVB top management undertakes not to exert any positive or negative influence on the certification decision-making process.
